Description
Summertime is all about picking the fruits of your labor and cramming them into small jars for the winter. While there are many methods to preserving food, the old way is often the best. While I'm not really familiar with how it's done, it's colorful and fun, and there's something fairly yummy looking inside. It reminds me of the old country.
However not all pies have to be filled, some of this might become limoncello, or perhaps some kind of cherry wine.
